SSH1111: Philosophy of Marxism and Leninism

Objectives:
This course aims to provide students basic knowledge of worldviews and dialectical materialism. Since then, it serves as a theoretical foundation for the perception of questions and contents of other subjects. At the same time, beliefs promotion, revolutionary ideals for students, ideological - political orientation in cognitive and practical activities
Curriculums:
- Provide an overview of the basic issues and historical development of Philosophy, showing the revolutionary and scientific nature of Marxist-Leninist dialectical materialism compared to other philosophical viewpoints.
- Analyze and clarify dialectical-materialism - historical materialism, as a scientific methodology to explain the world and the development of socio-economic forms in history.
- Apply the basic principles to practical activities.

SSH1121: Political economics

Objectives:
This module aims to provide students basic knowledge about goods, currencies, market economies and social interactions in economic activity. Since then, it helps students properly perceive the rules of history - economics - politics - society. At the same time, shape practical thinking and practical activities in line with socialist-oriented market economy model.
Curriculums:
- Summarize the basic aspects of the market economy, indicating the basis for earning the value of goods, historical formation, development and the nature of money, along with the rules of the market.
- Analyze the nature of socio-political-economic relations in the market economy, clarify the differences between the market economy of the SSC and the socialist-oriented market economy.
- Interpret the development trend of the Industrial Revolution and its impacts on the process of international economic integration, along with building Vietnam into a high-income industrial country.

SSH1131: Science Socialism

Objectives:
This module intends to provide students basic knowledge about the development of socio-economic forms, towards a society owned by the working people, based on the conditions of technical facilities at high level. Since then, it helps to build awareness about the methods of building socialism in Vietnam and around the world.
Curriculums:
- Clarify the objective need, concepts, and components of the socialist revolution, which result from conflicts between socio-political and socio-economic systems that Capitalism is unable to resolve.
- Identify the vital conditions and pioneering forces for the construction of a future progressive society, which is the working class with highly qualification in industrialized world.
- Point out ethnicity, religion, culture, ideology issues that help build the democracy in the process of the socialist revolution, accompanied by experiences from history and new practical trend

SSH1141: History of Vietnam Communist Party

Objectives:
This course will provide students basic knowledge about the historical setting, the establishment and development, along with the pioneering leadership role of the Vietnam Communist Party. Since then, it serves as a theoretical and practical basis for the proper perception of the political regime in Vietnam, affirming that the country's development path is led by the Party.
Curriculums
- Clarify the domestic and international historical setting at the beginning of the twentieth century, thereby solving objective requirements, leading to the formation of the Vietnam Communist Party founded by Ho Chi Minh.
- Analyze semantically the lines, guidelines, policies, experiences and practical results of the Party's leadership, based on the principels of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Ideology.
- Affirm the leadership role of the Party, which represent for the advantages and the willing of entire nation

SSH1151: Ho Chi Minh Ideology

Objectives:
This subject aims to provide students basic knowledge about the origin, content and historical stature of Ho Chi Minh Ideology, associated with the methodology of Marxism-Leninism. At the same time, it points out the moral example, style, scientific method, which Vietnamese people are heritated a legacy left by Ho Chi Minh
Curriculums:
- Show the overview of the domestic and international historical situation, practical activities, personalities, the process of learning Marxism-Leninism, thereby shaping Ho Chi Minh Thought.
- Analyze Ho Chi Minh's Ideology, which is a comprehensive perspective system on the fundamental issues of the Vietnamese Revolution; based on the Marxist-Leninist methodology, along with history - culture - national identity, and international integration.
- Apply experiences, following the moral example, style and method of Ho Chi Minh
