On the afternoon of July 13, 2023, the Political Economy professional group held an extracurricular activity for students with the topic “Hanoi University of Science and Technology students in the process of internationalizing about experiencing learning” in Meeting Room 312, Building D3, Faculty of Political Theory, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
The program includes participation from officials and lecturers from the Faculty of Political Theory, as well as more than 50 students from a variety of majors.
In particular, the extra-curricular program is planned in the form of an English-Vietnamese bilingual competition with three rounds centered on the topic of globalization.
Round 1: Introduction. Each team has 05 members. The teams will have a time constraint of 5 minutes to introduce the entire competition, including the theme, the team name, members, faculty or training facility, and the competition's motto. Students can express by singing, singing out, drama, and other means. This section will receive a 20-point grade.
Round 2: Occupy knowledge – Decode crosswords. The tasks of the 3 teams are to take turns choosing and answering the program’s questions, to find the hidden number behind the crosswords. From there find out the key word of the contest. Each correct answer of the key hint crossword will get 10 points. The keyword of this round is: CÔNG DÂN TOÀN CẦU (GLOBAL CITIZEN)
Round 3: Conquer Laurel - Confident eloquence. The teams will select a single member to draw on a rhetorical topic according to the given content of the Organizing Committee and have 30 seconds to think about the answer and 1 minute to present their ideas to the Jury by Vietnamese or English language. The maximum total score of this round will be 50 points .
After 3 rounds of interesting competitions, the contest determined the winners. The 1st prize is the Mechanical Team, the 2nd prize is the Automation Team, and the 3rd prize is the Bioproducts Team.
